Ke lo Ke are back! Live and dynamic on our stage for Salsa Tumbao Auckland 2024.

Since you last saw them, they’ve played all over the place,

including absolutely rocking the National Jazz Festival in Tauranga, and setting the room alight at the iconic venue - Ponsonby Social Club.
We know - we were there!

So you'd better start polishing your dance shoes and come and celebrate Cuba’s beautiful rhythms with 11 international artists from Cuba, Chile, Peru, Scotland and Aotearoa. They’ll be performing Salsa, Timba, Rumba, Son, Cha-cha-cha, Mambo, Afro-Cuban Jazz, and Bolero.

Ke lo Ke features some of New Zealand’s finest Latin and jazz musicians who traverse different eras and genres of Cuban music and dance, honouring its’ roots in Afro-Cuban culture and the music of numerous Grammy award-winning artists. The band draws inspiration from musical heroes like: Irakere, Buena Vista Social Club and Poncho Sanchez, as well as contemporary Cuban artists like: Alexander Abreu and Habana De Primera and Polo Montañez.
